When finding a good cruelty-free mascara, it can be a struggle. I know I am very picky about my mascara because my lashes are straight and hate to curl. So I need a mascara that will not weigh down my lashes, and it seems like everyone has their specific detail they are looking for when picking out a new mascara. Some of us want length, or volume, or curl, or definition, or separation, or waterproof and the list goes on.
This is why I decided to make a cruelty-free mascara list, in hopes that it will put your mind at ease of which ones you can try if you are living cruelty-free. Some of these brands make vegan formulas, but also non-vegan formulas. Every brand listed below is 100% cruelty-free. I list the mascaras from each brand that are also vegan. If a brand itself is completely vegan, , all of their mascaras will be vegan.
Brands may change their formulas, so it is always a good idea to double check the ingredients but I will update this list on a regular basis.
