Bliss is 100% cruelty-free and most of their products are vegan-friendly. If you have been following on Instagram, you’ll know that Bliss is also one of my favorite brands to recommend. This is because their products have yet to disappoint me. They accommodate to many different skin types. I never have a problem recommending a great cruelty-free skincare alternative to a consumer because 99% percent of the time, Bliss has it. There’s also a great chance I’ve already tried it, too! Earlier this season, Bliss launched a new power serum duo for day and night. I have been testing it out for a few weeks and just wow…. these serums are gold! Keep reading to learn more about my experience.
Bliss Day and Night Serum Review
What I love most about these serums is that Bliss made it easy to understand what products to choose for your morning and night routines. As a skincare novice like myself, that is something I have always struggled with. I find these clearly labeled formulas to be super helpful. And now that I think about it, it makes sense to use them in their respective routines. Glow and hydrate for the day and then renew overnight – makes total sense, right?! They both have similar application characteristics, being lightweight and quickly absorbent, and they don’t leave tackiness on my hands or face afterwards.
The Glow&Hydrate Day Serum works well under makeup and I noticed that my skin had more of a glow after just a few applications. It keeps my skin hydrated under my makeup all day long, even in these colder temperatures. I’m very comfortable throughout the day when using the day serum. It contains Niacinamide (vitamin b3), hyaluronic acid, and vitamin E to replenish skin for an everyday glow and defend against free radical damage. It also works to improve the appearance of pores and blemishes, which I appreciate before applying makeup!
After applying the Renew&Smooth Serum at night, I notice that my skin is definitely smoother when I wake up the next morning. It’s amazing how effective this resurfacing serum is for how gentle it is. It contains powerful glycolic acid but the gentler polyhydroxy and fruit acids give the serum a great balance. Together these ingredients help dissolve any dead skin cells I may have, and I love waking up to a brighter, smoother me! For a more intense treatment, you can alternate with That’s Incredi-Peel, which I reach for sometimes too!
