Cruelty-Free Bug Sprays

Some of my favorite things to do in the summer is go to bonfires, go to outdoor theaters, and watch fireworks. What do all three of these nighttime summer activities have in common? BUGS. When I think of using a bug spray to keep them away, I immediately think of the brand OFF!. But, did you know they aren’t 100% cruelty-free? They are also owned by a non-cruelty-free parent company S.C. Johnson. OFF! is not Free The Bunnies approved. Fortunately, there are tons of other options that are cruelty-free, and even vegan-friendly! Welcome to Part 10 of the Cruelty-Free Summer Series: Cruelty-Free Bug Sprays.

All brands listed below are 100% cruelty-free, including their parent companies. I have also listed which products are vegan-friendly. (Please note that product formulas do change, so be sure to double check the ingredients to ensure the product is still vegan.)
